Davao City-— April 16,2010, Yellow Alert was raised prior to the bombing incident in Basilan that killed 15 people. 4:45 PM this day a bomb exploded at corner Camus Street and Quirino Street in Davao City, 2 civilians were injured.
According to witnesses a man threw the grenade into the place, and fled with a motor bike. (inquirer.net)
Speculations of the involvement of Senatorial candidate Palparan tops the list. Palparan was known for his declaration that Davao City is not a safe country to live in, he is also tagged Persona Non Grata in the City. This reasons strengthens, peoples’ doubt over Palparan’s possible involvement with this bombing incidents in the city.
But this does not mean that Palparan is the real culprit. Investigations are still held by the police.
